What Are You Doing With Your Choice?

Mary and the Pups 4th of JulyWe two-legged mamas certainly don’t have a monopoly on “doing, and having it all”!

Try being a Mama-Bear!

Oh, wait…if you’re anything like me, you’re already known as a Mama-Bear!

I’m pretty sure that humans are the only animals in the known world where the female of the species needed to be granted by law the same basic rights of survival as the male.

In our society, the right to vote and the right to secure individual credit to purchase things are certainly rights of survival, and women did not possess both of these rights until 1974!

Now that we women have every freedom of choice we need to rule the world, let’s do just that!

Here is my article for Yahoo! depicting what I choose to do with my freedom.

What are you doing with your freedom and choice?

I would love to hear, especially during this 4th of July holiday…please share!

When I was 8 months pregnant with my second son, I fell and broke both my legs. Going through labor and delivery, caring for a newborn, toddler, husband and home, while hopping around with the help of a walker because I had a cast up to the knee on both legs, I learned a very important lesson... I CAN DO ANYTHING! ...and I'm here to say... YOU CAN TOO! I can't wait to chat!

Staff and supporters of American Jewish World Service hit the streets of New York City last week, joining the NYC Pride March and serving as the Jewish voice for LGBTI rights worldwide.

Who is alleged to have the right: Children’s rights, animal rights, workers’ rights, states’ rights, the rights of peoples. What actions or states or objects the asserted right pertains to: Rights of free expression, to pass judgment; rights of privacy, to remain silent; property rights, bodily rights. Why the rightholder (allegedly) has the right: Moral rights spring from moral reasons, legal rights derive from the laws of the society, customary rights are aspects of local customs. How the asserted right can be affected by the rightholder’s actions: The inalienable right to life, the forfeitable right to liberty, and the waivable right that a promise be kept.

We’re lucky to enjoy a good amount of freedom of choice, unlike people living in other countries. But we shouldn’t abuse. We should be responsible too.
